I had the privilege of working with Nicole over the past weekend again after some 3.5 months since we last shot together.

This time we went to the Capitola and Santa Cruz areas. It was both a shoot and scouting trip for me and it was a lot of fun. Nicole sported a brand new haircut with lesser curls and a lot of new outfits. That gave her a brand new look and thus was very exciting and refreshing! She also did her own makeup and had demonstrated to be more than capable. Both a natural look and glamorous type makeup were used.

We shot most of the images underneath the Capitola pier where the best combination of a shaded areas with lots of natural fill in light can be leverage to the fullest.

It was really fun working with teen model Marissa St. Croix in Portland, Oregon mid Dec ’05.

Marissa’s mum and manager, Dani, scouted out the locations as I was obviously unfamiliar with Portland. Closely aligning with the high level concepts that I had wanted, the locations were scouted out beforehand, and when I traveled out to Portland for my workshop, we get to shoot together! Awesome!!

Marissa is very very talented. She has more years in this modeling business than I have in my own photography business. I felt very grateful and privileged to work with her. Here are some shots taken in a run-down warehouse area. Some of these images were submitted for Marissa’s entry in OMP’s teen fashion competition.

Wrenna Monet!

Totally awesome. An established model from Santa Monica, California, Wrenna knows exactly what she wants, and how she would pull it off!!

In her rapidly expanding modeling and spokesperson career, Wrenna was recently involved with ZAPZYT! commercial. Way to go, Wrenna!!
